It's dog eat dog isn't it? At least if you're an Obama family member that is. So, is it out of line to ask when he'll be throwing Michelle under the bus; if we are to read the tracks, what can we conclude? A senator from Chicago with less than 6 months in Congress is running for the White House.

Washington, DC, Aug. 13 — This afternoon, Arkansas Democratic Party Chairman Bill Gwatney fell victim to what was evidently a political assassination. Gwatney was a major ally of Hillary and Bill Clinton, and was a leader of the strongly pro-Clinton Arkansas delegation to the upcoming Denver Democratic National Convention.

Gwatney’s Arkansas delegation was known to be a hotbed of anti-Obama sentiment, and was reportedly ready to walk out of the Denver convention if Senator Clinton were not to be treated fairly by the Howard Dean- Donna Brazile DNC leadership.

Observers in Washington are now asking whether the assassination of Gwatney can be read as attempted intimidation of the anti-Obama forces now gaining strength before the Denver convention.

Reviewing Paula Abeles' "Obama and Odinga"

Obama/OdingaRumors always abound, but this well documented [from highly credible news sources] article by Paula Abeles is a treasure of truth, and one that everybody should see. It addresses the startling danger to our national security that lies behind the poor judgment and questionable associations that plague Barack Obama wherever he goes.

A brief synopsis follows.  The full article with full documentation and pictures can be found at www.realdemocratsusa.org . It is WELL worth the read, and, more disturbingly still, raises the question as to why mainstream media has not been more forthcoming in their coverage despite articles previously published in the N.Y. Times, London Times and USA Today.
Although the Obama camp, as with so many things, has been less than forthcoming about the relationship between Barack Obama and Raila Odinga, the political affiliation between their fathers, both of the Luo tribe, is well established.

Contrary to Barack Obama's assertion that his father was a poor goat herder from Kenya, he came from a politically privileged, well connected family where he was closely associated to Raila Odinga's father.
What we do know about Raila Odinga is that he was reportedly set up in the oil business by the al Bakri Group and Muammar Qaddafi and listed in the infamous "Golden Chain" a list of wealthy Saudi financial sponsors.  And, after coming to power, he signed an agreement with Islamic extremists in Kenya, in which he agreed to institute Islamic law [with Sharia courts for family law] in exchange for their support, thereby extinguishing the liberties and even the lives of millions of Christian Kenyan women and establishing a safe haven for terrorists in Kenya.
Further, Odinga made opposition to the Kenyan government's crackdown on Al Qaeda supporters a cornerstone of his campaign. After Odinga took office, Al Qaeda cells that blew up embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam were known to have been recruited from mosques near Kenyan beaches. In what appeared to be a coordinated strategy from the top, a core of whom called themselves, 'The Taliban,' Odinga's Luo supporters engaged in what US envoy Jendayi Frazier called "clear ethnic cleansing" of the Kikuyu opposition, burning Christian women and children alive in churches they had fled to for sanctuary. Odinga supporters went on a rampage, burning, raping and killing everyone in their path, recreating the horror of the bloody Mau-Mau uprising of the 1950s where thousands were killed and their property taken.

What does this mean to the American people and, indeed the world?

Well, for one thing, Obama has not attempted to distance himself from Odinga, with whom he admitted speaking by phone during the primary. On the contrary, he endorsed and campaigned for Odinga, who is corrupt, ruthless and has financial ties to terrorists. 

In any case, the two campaigns share remarkable similarities, including ties to foreign money, oil and banking interests and intimidation tactics, but perhaps most disturbingly, the use of the campaign phrases, "It is Our Time" by Obama supporters and "It is Our Turn" by Odinga's Luos, who claimed that no matter what, they were going to take power. Thus far, about 7,000 have lost their lives and 250,000 have been displaced. Human Rights Watch claims that they have evidence that Odinga leaders actively fomented violence that included roaming bands of machete wielding youths.

Senator Obama's actions, decried by both the U.S. State Department and the former Kenyan government, were in direct opposition to the efforts and interests of both the Kenyan Christian population and U.S. National Security.
Senator Obama's efforts on Odinga's behalf, despite his ties to Al Qaeda and Qaddafi, can only be construed as extremely poor judgment, be they the result of a frightening loyalty or merely that of inexperience and naiveté. Either way, it is dangerous and no one can hope to really know what lies behind Obama's true intentions.

In a story about the ouster of Debra Bartoshevich from her position as delegate to the Democrat National Convention, the Associated Press identified "Clintons for McCain" as a "branch" of the McCain campaign "designed to recruit independents and Democrats."

An Open Letter to Barack Obama

We know who you are and who your friends are. Barack Obama, why don't you just go home?

Barack, your visit here is just a waste of time; you're not wanted or needed here. We'll do just fine without you and you'll probably do better with out us, too. Don't come around here making as if you're looking out for the good of Israel. We know who you are and who your friends are. Zigzagging back and forth about dividing or un-dividing Jerusalem won't clear your history.
 
I'm not talking about your middle name. Any good Christian might have the middle name Hussein (although I can't think of any others). We won't hold that against you. There are worse things than having an Arab name; like for instance being supported by a known Jew-hater, bigot Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam, who among other statements has accused the Jews of bringing on the Holocaust through cooperation with Hitler - "They helped him get the Third Reich on the road." But, of course, it would be wrong to hold that against you, because you haven't been rallying for his support (recently).
We can't really blame you for the beliefs of Father Michael Pfleger, who embraces Black Liberation Theology, which claims that Jesus was Black - so the Jews have no claim to Israel and, therefore, the Muslims are the rightful heirs of the Holy Land. Those beliefs have nothing to do with you, aside from the fact that you have coined the man your "moral compass." But one must admit that Pfleger is not your only mentor and also is not alone in looking up to Farrakhan.
Your spiritual mentor is Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who has praised Jimmy Carter for denouncing Zionism. Last year, the Trumpet Newsmagazine of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ gave the Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award to Louis Farrakhan and said that he is a man who "truly epitomized greatness." You are a member of that Church and Jeremiah Wright is its leader and your spiritual adviser.
Now you won't go so far as to criticize Jimmy Carter, not even for meeting with the heads of Hamas, because, to paraphrase your words, "It's not your place to criticize him." That is, not until the next day, when you were seeking the support of Jewish leaders. Then you must have found a new place for criticism. Aren't the Jews great for giving a guy a new vision and a sense of self-confidence? Is that what you meant by, "It's time for change"?
Barack Hussein, we won't hold it against you. But can you tell us what you mean by supporting a Palestinian State along side Israel? Do you mean a replay of the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Gaza three years ago? Do you foresee soldiers carrying men, women and children away from their homes, which are to be demolished by bulldozers? Palestinian rule brought on the endless rocket fire on Sderot and the thousands of Jewish refugees who have yet to find permanent homes or means of a steady income. Is that your vision of a new hope that Farakkhan's Final Call website praises you for?
Barack Hussein, why don't you just go home? Your visit to Israel this week is not because you're looking out for the wellbeing of Israel and the Jewish people. You're coming to Israel looking for the Jewish vote; your goal is to

speak with the Jewish American voters through the press coverage of this tour to the holy land. You want them to think that you took the time off from your busy campaign to further peace in the Middle East. Your hope is that enough stupid Jews will misread the message and take it as an act of support for Israel.
Don't use us or our land as a photo-op to transmit a twisted call for support to Jewish-American voters. You don't fool us. We know who you and your friends are.
Barack Hussein, why don't you just go home? But on the way out, remember the words you heard here from the proud Jewish settlers in Judea and Samaria: "This is our land!" We are back after two thousand years of forced exile and we are not about to leave it again.

 McCain's "forbidden" op-ed

c4m has obtained the opinion-editorial (op-ed) piece which Senator John McCain wrote and submitted to the New York Times last Friday July 18. This piece was "rejected" by the NYT although they gleefully published an op-ed by Barack Hussein Obama just a couple of days before. Their stated reasons for rejection was because McCain didn't include a  "clear plan for achieving victory — with troops levels, timetables and measures for compelling the Iraqis to cooperate. And it would need to describe the senator's Afghanistan strategy, spelling out how it meshes with his Iraq plan."

McCain's campaign replied to this,  McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds said, "John McCain believes that victory in Iraq must be based on conditions on the ground, not arbitrary timetables. Unlike Barack Obama, that position will not change based on politics or the demands of The New York Times."

So, the NYT is blatantly trying to squelch McCain's message, playing partisan politics, and clearly has no objectivity. It lost all credibility long ago, and clearly doesn't see any need to reclaim it. Here we'll publish Senator McCain's op-ed piece, in its entirety, below.

We are WINNING in Iraq.

John McCainIn January 2007, when General David Petraeus took command in Iraq, he called the situation “hard” but not “hopeless.” Today, 18 months later, violence has fallen by up to 80% to the lowest levels in four years, and Sunni and Shiite terrorists are reeling from a string of defeats. The situation now is full of hope, but considerable hard work remains to consolidate our fragile gains.

         Progress has been due primarily to an increase in the number of troops and a change in their strategy. I was an early advocate of the surge at a time when it had few supporters in Washington. Senator Barack Obama was an equally vocal opponent. "I am not persuaded that 20,000 additional troops in Iraq is going to solve the sectarian violence there,” he said on January 10, 2007. “In fact, I think it will do the reverse."

          Now Senator Obama has been forced to acknowledge that “our troops have performed brilliantly in lowering the level of violence.” But he still denies that any political progress has resulted.

          Perhaps he is unaware that the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad has recently certified that, as one news article put it, “Iraq has met all but three of 18 original benchmarks set by Congress last year to measure security, political and economic progress.” Even more heartening has been progress that’s not measured by the benchmarks. More than 90,000 Iraqis, many of them Sunnis who once fought against the government, have signed up as Sons of Iraq to fight against the terrorists. Nor do they measure Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki’s new-found willingness to crack down on Shiite extremists in Basra and Sadr City—actions that have done much to dispel suspicions of sectarianism.

          The success of the surge has not changed Senator Obama’s determination to pull out all of our combat troops. All that has changed is his rationale. In a New York Times op-ed and a speech this week, he offered his “plan for Iraq” in advance of his first “fact finding” trip to that country in more than three years. It consisted of the same old proposal to pull all of our troops out within 16 months. In 2007 he wanted to withdraw because he thought the war was lost. If we had taken his advice, it would have been. Now he wants to withdraw because he thinks Iraqis no longer need our assistance.

          To make this point, he mangles the evidence. He makes it sound as if Prime Minister Maliki has endorsed the Obama timetable, when all he has said is that he would like a plan for the eventual withdrawal of U.S. troops at some unspecified point in the future.

  Senator Obama is also misleading on the Iraqi military's readiness. The Iraqi Army will be equipped and trained by the middle of next year, but this does not, as Senator Obama suggests, mean that they will then be ready to secure their country without a good deal of help. The Iraqi Air Force, for one, still lags behind, and no modern army can operate without air cover. The Iraqis are also still learning how to conduct planning, logistics, command and control, communications, and other complicated functions needed to support frontline troops.

          No one favors a permanent U.S. presence, as Senator Obama charges. A partial withdrawal has already occurred with the departure of five “surge” brigades, and more withdrawals can take place as the security situation improves. As we draw down in Iraq, we can beef up our presence on other battlefields, such as Afghanistan, without fear of leaving a failed state behind. I have said that I expect to welcome home most of our troops from Iraq by the end of my first term in office, in 2013.

But I have also said that any draw-downs must be based on a realistic assessment of conditions on the ground, not on an artificial timetable crafted for domestic political reasons. This is the crux of my disagreement with Senator Obama.

Senator Obama has said that he would consult our commanders on the ground and Iraqi leaders, but he did no such thing before releasing his “plan for Iraq.” Perhaps that’s because he doesn’t want to hear what they have to say. During the course of eight visits to Iraq, I have heard many times from our troops what Major General Jeffrey Hammond, commander of coalition forces in Baghdad, recently said: that leaving based on a timetable would be “very dangerous.”

The danger is that extremists supported by Al Qaeda and Iran could stage a comeback, as they have in the past when we’ve had too few troops in Iraq. Senator Obama seems to have learned nothing from recent history. I find it ironic that he is emulating the worst mistake of the Bush administration by waving the “Mission Accomplished” banner prematurely.

I am also dismayed that he never talks about winning the war—only of ending it. But if we don’t win the war, our enemies will. A triumph for the terrorists would be a disaster for us. That is something I will not allow to happen as president. Instead I will continue implementing a proven counterinsurgency strategy not only in Iraq but also in Afghanistan with the goal of creating stable, secure, self-sustaining democratic allies.

Today, McCain 2008 Senior Foreign Policy Advisor Randy Scheunemann issued the following statement:

"The difference between John McCain and Barack Obama is that Barack Obama advocates an unconditional withdrawal that ignores the facts on the ground and the advice of our top military commanders. John McCain believes withdrawal must be based on conditions on the ground. Prime Minister Maliki has repeatedly affirmed the same view, and did so again today. Timing is not as important as whether we leave with victory and honor, which is of no apparent concern to Barack Obama. The fundamental truth remains that Senator McCain was right about the surge and Senator Obama was wrong. We would not be in the position to discuss a responsible withdrawal today if Senator Obama's views had prevailed."

Here's lifelong despot, tyrant and enemy of freedom Muammar Gaddafi professing his hatred for America and love for Barack Hussien Obama, "our muslim brother" and falling in with the likes of China, Iran, and other despotic regimes in endorsing Obama.

Obamaphiles love playing the "race card" any time they run into someone who supports John McCain. Especially when it's Hillary Clinton supporters who now do. They insist that since "Hillary and Obama's Hussein's Hole Card policies are nearly the same" there MUST be discrimination and racism involved. They never consider that it's not the color of the skin -- it's the content of character, of which Barack Hussein Obama has none.

This insistent, shallow view they have comes from simple blame-shifting in advance. They've already created their ready-made excuse for when their Anointed One gets wiped out in November. There's a history of this, going all the way back to 1980 really, where the DNC will put out its advance talking point for "why we lost" well in advance of the general election.

We've heard them all, they blame-shift each time. They blame the people for just being "uneducated," they blame evangelicals, they blame "biased media," they blame "the rich" they blame "big business" they blame "vote fraud" they blame "right-wing talk radio" they blame "faux news" they make all these excuses in advance, so they can later say these excuses with a straight face and get you to believe them. This time? The excuse in advance for Obama losing is "racism."

It's never about ideas, it's never really about "change" it's never about the fact that the PEOPLE simply reject extremist leftist socialism, it's always about blame shifting and total lack of ideas and total disconnect with intelligent Americans. It's about good old fashioned nazi-style propaganda. They say things like, "we just didn't get our message out" well, YES YOU DID!! That's the whole PROBLEM! You got your "message" out and the people REJECTED it!

They can NEVER say things like, "the people just didn't trust our candidate" or, "our agenda was too far leftist for Americans" they have to blame "gun-toting bible-thumpers" and "bitter people" and in this case, definitely "racism" is the big club, the ace in the hole for ObamaBots and Obamaphiles.

They can't, never have, and never will tell the truth about why they lost, just like their candidates can never really tell the truth about what they stand for -- because Americans simply won't eat that can of corn.

57 states? Yes! Obama's gaffe that wasn't?

When junior Senator Barack Hussein Obama had his "slip of the tongue" on the campaign trail, and famously said he was going to campaign in "all 57 states" it was dismissed by the same partisan media who were all over Dan Quayle's misspell of "potato." They said "Barack was tired, it's been such a long campaign and all, he just lost his bearings." Well, turns out that BamBam Hussein knew exactly what he was talking about! There ARE 57 states.... 57 ISLAMIC states!

The flag Obama recognizes?The OIC (Organization of the Islamic Conference) recognizes 57 Islamic states! Read all about it by clicking >here< and ask yourself, Obama said he was going to campaign in 57 states, and it turns out that there are 57 Islamic states -- did he just "lose his bearings" or was it a Freudian slip? Does he have Islam on his Muslim mind?

Voters had really better wake up and make the right decision come November.

Why VOTE for McCain?

Probably the most common question we're asked in feedback emails is, "Why, if you're Hillary Clinton supporters, would you EVER vote for evil republican John McCain or any other evil republican" or, words to that effect. (Their illiterate mis-spells corrected here, of course.)

We're also getting emails asserting that the only reason anyone WOULD vote for McCain is because they're racist. Both common questions/statements have the same source -- blind partisanship and built in excuse-making and blame-shifting. Both assume simple motives, both assume everyone's a puppet, parrot robot like the writers of these emails obviously are. For them and everyone else, there is a simple answer:

Here's why

Same reason we were for Hillary Clinton and voted for her in the primaries, 18 million of us. We were and are against Junior Senator Barack Hussein Obama for the same reasons as always -- he's not qualified, he's not experienced, he's not honorable and we don't trust him to hold the nation's Highest Office. John McCain is the only viable candidate left who we believe has all those qualities and more.

This is a man who served his country in a time of war, whose grandfather and father were both admirals in the United States Navy, who was himself a naval aviator, and was almost killed on July 29, 1967 when he was at the epicenter of the fire aboard the USS Forrestal. He escaped from his burning jet and was trying to help another pilot escape when a bomb exploded; McCain was struck in the legs and chest by fragments. The ensuing fire killed 134 sailors and took 24 hours to control.

McCain's captureWith the Forrestal out of commission, McCain volunteered for assignment with the USS Oriskany where he continued to fly combat missions until being shot down over Hanoi on Oct. 26, 1967.

This was his 23rd bombing mission over North Vietnam, his crash injuries included both legs and one arm broken, and when he regained consciousness a crowd attacked him, (shown at right) crushing his shoulder with a rifle butt and stabbing him with bayonets. He was then taken to Hanoi's main Hoa La prison more generally known as the "Hanoi Hilton."

His captors refused to treat his wounds, and instead beat him and interrogated him. When they found out his father was an Admiral, they announced his capture and attempted to use him for propaganda. McCain never gave them what they wanted, no information and no recorded statements, and they transferred him to a different camp on the outskirts of Hanoi.

There, he spent six weeks in the hospital, receiving marginal care. He had lost 50 pounds and was in a body cast, his hair had turned white. He was then locked into a cell with two other Americans who didn't expect him to live for a week. In March 1968, McCain was placed in solitary confinement, where he remained for the next two years.

In mid-1968, McCain's father was named commander of all U.S. forces in the Vietnam theater, and McCain was offered early release. The North Vietnamese wanted to appear merciful for propaganda purposes, and also wanted to show other POWs that what they called "elites" like McCain were willing to be treated preferentially. McCain turned down the offer of repatriation; he would only accept the offer if every man taken in before him was released as well. He wouldn't play their game, wouldn't harm his country even if it meant more torture and possibly even death for himself.

And that's exactly what it did mean -- In August of 1968, a program of severe torture began on McCain. McCain was subjected to repeated beatings and rope bindings, at the same time as he was suffering from dysentery. After four days of beatings and torture, denial of food and water, McCain made an anti-American propaganda "confession". He has always felt that his statement was dishonorable, but as he would later write, "I had learned what we all learned over there: Every man has his breaking point. I had reached mine." His injuries left him permanently incapable of raising his arms above his head. He subsequently received two to three beatings per week because of his continued refusal to sign additional statements.

McCain refused to meet with various anti-war groups seeking peace in Hanoi, wanting to give neither them nor the North Vietnamese a propaganda victory. From late 1969 on, treatment of McCain and many of the other POWs became more tolerable, while McCain continued to be an active resister against the camp authorities. McCain and other prisoners cheered the B-52-led U.S. "Christmas Bombing" campaign of December 1972 as a forceful measure to push North Vietnam to terms.

McCain, 1974 post-release Altogether, McCain was held as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam for five and a half years. He was finally released from captivity on March 14, 1973. McCain's return to the United States reunited him with his wife and family. His wife Carol had suffered her own crippling ordeal during his captivity, due to an automobile accident in December 1969.

McCain retired as a captain from the Navy in 1981, but his service to this great country didn't end there. He entered politics and served two terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, before being elected to the Senate in 1986.

His political life has always been met with resistance and challenges -- and he has always stood up to them. A good early example of that was in 1982, during his first-ever run for political office.

McCain ran as a Republican for an open seat in Arizona's 1st congressional district. As a newcomer to the state, McCain was hit with repeated charges of being a carpetbagger. McCain responded to a voter making the charge with what a Phoenix Gazette columnist would later label as "the most devastating response to a potentially troublesome political issue I've ever heard":

"Listen, pal. I spent 22 years in the Navy. My father was in the Navy. My grandfather was in the Navy. We in the military service tend to move a lot. We have to live in all parts of the country, all parts of the world. I wish I could have had the luxury, like you, of growing up and living and spending my entire life in a nice place like the First District of Arizona, but I was doing other things. As a matter of fact, when I think about it now, the place I lived longest in my life was Hanoi."

We'll take McCains experience, dedication, patriotism, decades of honorable service, his staying power, courage, stamina and optimistic outlook for the future of this country over Obama's cult-like near-religious fearmongering, cowardly race baiting and class warfare campaign. He's shown us no changes thus far, relying on the decades-old, dogeared playbook of 'how to get elected as a Democrat.'

We won't waste our vote by trying to write-in Hillary or staying at home -- we will vote for John McCain, for REAL change. That change being, having a qualified, experienced, patient, hardened man as POTUS for the first time since 1989.

Grassroots Movement Sprouting

We're seeing more and more of this, Democrat voters not tolerating the "bait and switch" game the DNC pulled, speaking out, and joining forces. "Hell no BHO" is becoming a chant and a reality, all over the country. This is only the beginning, the start of a snowball rolling down a mountain that will grow into an avalanche before November. Remember what Harry Truman said, "I never gave them hell. I gave them the truth and they THOUGHT it was hell." History repeats itself.
